The village hall is situated in the Market Square at the centre of the village with adequate parking immediately outside, it is an ideal venue for a variety of events. Depending upon the type of function it can accommodate a maximum of 100 people.
Currently the hall is used for a considerable number of activities including Bridge, Aunt Sally, society meetings, social functions, badminton, community singing, regular film nights and occasional theatrical productions, as well as a variety of keep fit classes, charity bingo, sales and quiz nights. Features include an extendable stage, tables, upholstered chairs, a fully-fitted kitchen, a badminton court and net and a recently installed up-to-the-minute projection and sound system, including a drop-down screen and induction loop. All facilities are accessible to disabled users. |
